Opening Day 2019

Opening Day - February 23rd @ Vineyard Church

Rumor has it there will be food trucks - this is true! Food trucks and food venders will be available for breakfast before and for lunch afterward - so you can grab something to eat before you head off to the field for your games. :) 

Opening Day Schedule:

Saturday, February 23rd

Location: Vineyard Church, 5340 E La Palma Ave., Anaheim, CA 92870

 

8:00AM Doors Open 

Food Trucks and food vendors are available for breakfast and a variety of vendors for shopping. 

 

9:15 Line Up for Parade

Managers/team parent check in at table by entrance for line up location. 

  • Please have parents drop off players to you/team mom.
  • Parents can proceed to sanctuary or outside. The lineup location gets too crowded if parents stay with you.

 

10:00 - 10:45 Parade

Introduction of teams

  • Players will remain with team parents during ceremonies. Coaches will proceed to designated coaches seating.
  • Teams will be seated in the lower floor seat and on the floor in front of the stage. 

10:45 - 11:55 Ceremony

       Raffle, Speakers, Etc. 

11:55 to 12:10 Conclusion of Ceremony

 

A $75.00 prize will be awarded for Best Banner, Best Costumes and Most Spirited.  

Costumes: 

There should be no costumes that leave pieces on the floor; boas, glitter, etc.

NO CLEATS

 

Please let families know that there is NO FOOD in Sanctuary.
